Steeped in history, The Headland has become one of Cornwall’s most-loved hotels. A longstanding favourite with royal visitors including King George VI, we also found fame on the big screen. The most well known film made here on location is Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’, during which Rowan Atkinson caused an epic flood!
Dogs are welcome in our hotel & cottages – even wet and sandy ones, as long as they are well-behaved! For your four legged friends we can provide a dog bowl, blanket, food and some yummy treats. There's a charge of £20 per dog, per night but with miles of sandy beach for them to run along it's well worth it.
With a sherbet-soft sand beach and sweeping bay views, The Headland offers a unique vantage point to experience Cornwall’s beauty. We’re two minutes from the UK’s most famous beach, yet off on our own exclusive stretch of Headland, away from the masses. Welcome to the land of wild seas, salty lips and sandy toes.
